Responsibilities

Client Support:
  • Provide frontline support for group benefits clients, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
  • Offer guidance on plan details, coverage, and claim procedures to ensure client understanding.
Enrollment Assistance:
  • Assist clients in the enrollment process, including handling paperwork, data entry, and coordination with insurance carriers.
Claims Management:
  • Manage and facilitate the group benefits claims process, ensuring timely and accurate submission and resolution.
  • Collaborate with insurance providers to advocate for clients and expedite claims processing.
Policy Reviews:
  • Conduct periodic reviews of group benefit plans, proactively identifying opportunities for optimization or enhancement.
  • Provide recommendations for plan adjustments based on industry trends and client needs.
Client Education:
  • Educate clients on industry best practices, legislative changes, and emerging trends affecting group benefits.
  • Conduct training sessions to empower clients in utilizing their benefits effectively.
Documentation and Compliance:
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Renewal Coordination:
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare and facilitate group benefit plan renewals.
  • Communicate renewal details, options, and changes to clients in a clear and concise manner.
Problem Resolution:
  • Investigate and resolve complex client issues or concerns, demonstrating a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Escalate matters as needed, collaborating with team members to find resolutions.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in group benefits or insurance.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of group benefit plans, insurance terminology, and industry regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant CRM software.
