Responsibilities

Financial Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s overall objectives.
  • Provide financial leadership in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
Financial Reporting:
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate financial performance, trends, and projections to the executive team and board of directors.
Risk Management:
  • Assess and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Implement effective internal controls and risk management practices.
Capital Management:
  • Manage the company’s capital structure, optimizing the use of financial resources.
  • Evaluate and execute strategies for fundraising or capital investments.
Financial Analysis and Modeling:
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Develop financial models to assess the impact of business initiatives and investments.
Strategic Financial Advice:
  • Collaborate with the executive team to provide financial insights and advice on business strategies.
  • Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, or partnerships for financial viability.
Regulatory Compliance:
  • Stay abreast of changes in financial regulations and ensure the company’s compliance.
  • Work closely with legal and regulatory teams to address financial compliance requirements.
Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute talent development strategies within the finance department.

Skills & Qualifications

  • CPA designation with extensive experience in financial leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of success in strategic financial management within the financial services industry.
